Eunice Nissen Naumann , age 81, of Prior Lake was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 19, 2015 while visiting her childhood home in India. Eunice blessed all with her grace, strong faith, easy smile and heart-felt conversations. Eunice was born on October 28, 1933 to Rev. John and Marie Naumann, Lutheran missionaries. Eunice filled her life with service to others through music, teaching, ministry, and unwavering family dedication. While saddened by her passing, we are grateful for precious memories and confident in our eventual reunion in heaven.
Eunice is survived by her siblings, Helen Spitzack, Dr. Miriam (Ken Kauffman) McCreary, John (Faye) Naumann and Dr. Walter (Sandra) Naumann; by her children Nathan (Kathy) Nissen, Joel Nissen, Naomi (Todd) Horsager, Dr. Jonas (Julie) Nissen, Dr. Nicholas (Dr. Kathy Magliato) Nissen and Christina Nissen; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grand daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Norman Nissen, son Jeremy, sister Irene Cotter, and her parents Rev. John and Marie Naumann.
