Lewis R Scudder, Lew, (Class of 1958) passed away early on All Saints’ Day, November 1, 2017, on the island of Cyprus, where he lived with his wife Nancy for nearly 20 years.
Lew and Nancy served as missionaries in Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Turkey, and Cyprus from 1966 until their retirement in 2008. He served in various capacities in the Middle East, including Director of the Communication Office for the Middle East Council of Churches, and mission consultant and educator for the RCA.
A Memorial will be held for Lew on November 3, 2018. The Memorial will take place at the Lakeview Centre, 800 Gilson Park Drive, Wilmette, IL, USA, at 1:30pm.
